Violent bus station brawl caught on camera as police probe

Police Scotland have launched an investigation after a violent brawl broke out at Glenrothes Bus Station in Fife, with the incident captured on camera.

Disturbance in Postgate area

The incident took place around 7.15pm on Thursday, October 8, at the bus station in the Postgate area of the town. Videos posted to social media have racked up hundreds of thousands of views, showing a melee erupting at the transport hub.

One clip shows two women dragging each other by the hair as a man in a white T-shirt attempts to break them apart. A crowd watches on as one girl's hair extensions are ripped from her scalp and fall onto the wet tarmac.

Second video shows further violence

In a separate video, one girl is seen being dragged by the hood as another female begins raining hammer blows to her head. The man in the white T-shirt appears to try and get involved as punches are thrown from all angles.

Another man comes from behind him and throws a right hook which narrowly misses the back of his head. The male in the white top is then seen being pulled away by a woman before he can retaliate to the missed punch. He is held apart from the situation as the brawl dies down.
