Thames Valley Police have issued an urgent appeal to trace James Doran, a 23-year-old man with one eye, following the alleged rape of a teenage girl in Banbury, Oxfordshire, on August 11. Officers have warned the public not to approach him and to call 999 immediately if seen.
Doran, from Kindlington, Oxfordshire, is described as a white male with short ginger or brown hair, a ginger or brown beard, and is missing his right eye. He is known to frequently visit Leicestershire and has links to north Oxfordshire, south Warwickshire, and Hillingdon in London.
Detective Inspector Becky Sargeant said: “We are urgently appealing for the public’s help in locating James Doran. Anyone with information about his current whereabouts should call 999. It is important that if you see him, please do not approach him, and instead call 999.”
