Urgent appeal over missing 13-year-old boy from Bolton

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have issued an urgent appeal for help tracing a 13-year-old boy from Bolton who has gone missing. Officers say they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Last seen in Tyldesley

Finlay, whose surname has not been released, was last seen in Tyldesley, Wigan, at around 7pm on Friday, August 21. He comes from Bolton and is believed to have travelled there, the force said.

He was last seen wearing a blue Monterrain tracksuit and grey trainers.

Appeal for information

In an appeal issued on Saturday afternoon, GMP said: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Finlay's welfare and want to ensure he is safe and well."

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call GMP on 0161 856 7102, quoting the reference number MSP/06LL/0001795/26.
