Albert, 67, was last seen on Greenough Street in Scholes, Wigan, at around 8pm on Friday. Police are increasingly concerned and urge anyone with information to come forward.

Greater Manchester Police have issued an urgent appeal for help in tracing a missing 67-year-old man from Wigan.

Albert was last seen in the Scholes area, on Greenough Street, at around 8pm on Friday evening (August 14). He is described as around 5ft 6in tall, bald with a tuft of grey hair, and has tattoos down both arms.

Police growing concern

In an appeal on GMP's Wigan Facebook page, a force spokesperson said officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Albert.

Anyone who spots him or has any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 0161 856 7072, quoting reference MSP/06LL/0001722/26, or call 999 in an emergency.
