Merseyside Police have launched an urgent appeal for help to trace 10-year-old Rosie May Osborne, who went missing from Bootle in the North West. The youngster was last seen in North Park on Stanley Road at around 8am on Sunday, July 19. Officers searched for Rosie overnight and issued a fresh appeal on Monday morning, July 20.
Police Share Photo Taken Just Before Disappearance
Police shared a photo of Rosie taken outside her home just before she vanished. The image shows her on a pink or red bike. According to Merseyside Police, she often visits parks in the Bootle area. Rosie is described as around 5ft tall, of slim build, with blonde wavy hair, and she wears glasses.
Public Urged to Call 999 Immediately
Anyone who spots Rosie is urged to call 999 straight away. “If you see Rosie, please call 999 as soon as possible so we can make sure she is safe,” police added in the appeal. Sightings can also be reported via an online form or by contacting Merseyside Police Contact Centre on 101.
