All sailings from Ardrossan Harbour have been cancelled after a bomb threat was reported on board a CalMac ferry. The MV Caledonian Isles was evacuated following the threat, which came after a passenger who had gone overboard was rescued.

Incident during Brodick to Ardrossan crossing

A person was reported overboard during the passage of the 4.40pm MV Caledonian Isles from Brodick to Ardrossan at around 5.30pm on Friday, August 21. The bomb threat was reported on the ferry after the passenger was rescued.

Police search and cancellations

The ferry has been evacuated and police are searching the boat. All sailings from Ardrossan Harbour are cancelled as a result of the threat.
