
A shocking act of violence has rocked Indonesia after two police officers were killed and another seriously injured during an attack on a local police station in Central Java.
The tragic incident unfolded on Saturday morning at the Polsek in Baki district, Sukoharjo regency, where an unidentified assailant launched a brutal assault on officers.

According to local authorities, the attack occurred around 8am local time when the perpetrator entered the police station and opened fire. The two officers who lost their lives were identified as 35-year-old Brigadier Taufan and 31-year-old Brigadier Rizky.
Another officer, identified as Chief Brigadier Sigit, sustained serious injuries during the confrontation and was immediately rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.

Indonesian police have launched a major investigation into the incident, with Central Java police chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi confirming that forensic teams are examining the scene for evidence.
"We are deeply saddened by this loss and are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the motive behind this attack," stated Inspector General Luthfi during a press conference.
