A car crash west of Melbourne has killed two children and injured five others after the vehicle overturned on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly before 4pm on September 8, where a woman and seven children had been travelling in the car. A seven-year-old girl died at the scene, while an 11-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries and later died overnight.
Five children hospitalised
The other five children were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, a 34-year-old woman, was transported to hospital for observation.
Air ambulance teams, intensive care and advanced life paramedics remained at the location throughout Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities have urged anyone with information or footage to contact Crime Stoppers. Investigations are ongoing.
