Two people have been charged with murder following the death of a three-year-old girl in Hayes, west London, in December 2023. Emergency services were called to an address on Pennine Way just after 6pm on December 17 after reports that a child had been found dead.
The Metropolitan Police said the child's death has remained under investigation since that time. On Thursday, September 25, two individuals were arrested and later charged with her murder.
Manpreet Jatana, 34, and Jaskiret Singh Uppal, 36, both of Pennine Way, Hayes, are set to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Friday. No further details about the victim or the circumstances of the death have been released at this stage.
