Two people have been arrested after four individuals were bitten by a dog in Leicester. Police responded to reports of a dog inside a shop on Narborough Road at 22:08 GMT on Thursday.
According to Leicestershire Police, two women inside the shop and a man and a woman outside were bitten. A 51-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control in a public place.
Paramedics treated the victims at the scene, and three of them were taken to hospital. The force stated that none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The dog, believed to be a Cane Corso, was seized by police near the scene and is currently being cared for in a secure kennel while its breed is confirmed.
