Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 30-year-old man was stabbed to death on Christmas Day in Wolverhampton. West Midlands Police were called to Burcot Avenue at around 3.30am on Thursday, where they found the victim with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspects, aged 35 and 58, are currently in police custody. A cordon remains in place as officers conduct forensic examinations, review CCTV footage, and speak to witnesses.
Detective Chief Superintendent Ed Foster said: 'We are in the early stages of our investigation and carrying out quick-time enquiries.' He urged anyone with information to contact police via 101 or Live Chat, quoting reference number 481 of 25 December.
