Police in Lancashire are investigating an incident of anti-social behaviour in Chorley believed to be linked to a viral TikTok trend known as the 'door kick challenge'. The incident occurred on Burlington Street on May 14 at approximately 8pm.
Three youths—one male and two females—reportedly kicked the front door of a property, causing distress and annoyance to the resident. Officers suspect the act was part of a social media trend where young people film themselves kicking strangers' doors and running away.
Lancashire Constabulary has reminded the public to report any form of anti-social behaviour. A police spokesperson said: 'This type of activity can have a significant negative impact on residents and the wider community.'
The force's Operation Centurion, supported by Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw, is targeting anti-social behaviour hotspots with additional foot patrols across Lancashire. Residents are urged to report incidents via online tools, by calling 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
