Suspect Appears in Court Over Primrose Hill Murder
A 27-year-old man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with the murder of film student Finbar Sullivan, who was fatally stabbed on Primrose Hill in north London. Oluwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, of Southbury Road in Enfield, spoke briefly during a two-minute hearing at Stratford Magistrates' Court to confirm his name, address, and date of birth.

District Judge Ashwinder Gill ordered Ogunyankinnu to be held in custody ahead of his next appearance at the Central Criminal Court on Wednesday. The defendant, wearing a grey jumper, was not asked to enter a plea during the hearing, while members of his family observed from the public gallery. Ogunyankinnu was arrested last Friday and formally charged with murder on Sunday.
In a related development, a 25-year-old who had been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released with no further action taken by authorities.

Finbar Sullivan, 21, was a student at the London Screen Academy who produced music videos for drill rap artists under the professional name Sully Shot It. The victim was the grandson of celebrated cinematographer Michael Seresin, known for his work on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and other major films.
The fatal incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when a fight broke out in front of shocked crowds at the popular beauty spot. Finbar was stabbed to death during the altercation, which police believe involved multiple individuals.

Finbar's father, Christopher Sullivan, founder of 1980s band Blue Rondo à la Turk and the infamous Wag Club in Soho, described his son as "the most beautiful, lovely, outgoing, loving boy" who was "just a really lovely person." The grieving 65-year-old father told reporters: "This is the worst tragedy I could ever imagine. He's my only son... I had him when I was 45. He can never be replaced."
Mr Sullivan revealed that Finbar had been testing a new camera purchased for his 21st birthday when the attack occurred. "He'd just bought a new camera, we all chipped in for his 21st birthday, and he took it up there to do a bit of filming," he explained.

Despite producing content for the drill music scene, which has historical associations with gang violence, Christopher Sullivan insisted his son had no gang connections. "He was just a little groovy 21-year-old who loved movies and making films," he said. "He didn't drink, he didn't smoke, he didn't go out. He'd stay at home editing his films six nights a week."

Since the tragedy, numerous tributes have appeared at Primrose Hill, including floral arrangements, cards, and customised T-shirts featuring Finbar's face and his nickname "Sully." The victim's friend was also injured during the incident, suffering stab wounds to his back and hands while attempting to protect Finbar.
Christopher Sullivan expressed disbelief that such violence could occur at the iconic location, stating: "It's Primrose Hill, for God's sake... it's like Hyde Park.
