A city park in Cornwall has been cordoned off by police following a serious sexual assault on a man late Monday night. Devon and Cornwall Police have sealed off Linear Park in St Austell after the incident, which is reported to have occurred at approximately 11pm on Monday, June 1.
Police Investigation Underway
Officers have established a cordon on Longpark Way while enquiries remain ongoing. Authorities are urging any witnesses or individuals with information, including dashcam footage, to come forward to assist with the investigation.
Police Statement
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We are investigating a report of a serious sexual assault on a man on Monday, June 1 in St Austell. It was reported to have happened in Linear Park, Longpark Way, at around 11pm. A police cordon has been set up at the scene while enquiries are ongoing."
