Victim of Southall Murder Named After Stabbing Outside Shop
Southall Stabbing Victim Named as Gurbhej Singh

A 26-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in West London has been named by police as Gurbhej Singh. Officers were called to reports of a stabbing in Southall, Ealing at 12:41 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10. London Ambulance Service alerted police to the fatal incident on North Road, near the junction with Dormers Wells Lane.

Police and paramedics attended and found two injured men at the scene. Despite the best efforts of medics, Mr Singh, who had suffered a knife wound, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Metropolitan Police said his family are currently being supported by specialist officers.

A second man, aged in his 30s, was treated in hospital and has since been discharged. Seven men, aged from their early 20s to late 30s, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. Following further enquiries, six have been released with no further action, while one man has been bailed pending further investigation.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, of the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Command, said: "Homicide detectives continue to investigate Mr Singh’s tragic death and my thoughts remain with his family and loved ones. We believe he was assaulted outside a shop at the junction of North Road and Dormers Well Lane at around 00:30 hours. I would urge anyone with CCTV covering the area - or who was in the area at the time and has not yet spoken to police – to please come forward and speak to police."

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information. Anyone with information is asked to report it online via the Major Incident Information Portal or call police on 101 quoting CAD 215/10JUN26. Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
