Woman Killed in North-West London Triple Shooting Identified

Michelle Sadio, 46, has been named as the woman fatally shot in a triple shooting in Harlesden, north-west London, on Saturday evening. She died at the scene on Gifford Road, and the Metropolitan Police said her family is being supported by specialist officers pending formal identification.

Two men, both in their 30s, were also injured in the incident. One remains in hospital in a critical condition, while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made as the murder investigation continues.

Superintendent Tony Josephs from the Met’s north-west command unit said: “This is a truly shocking incident that has left a woman dead and two others injured, and I understand the concern this will cause the local community and those across London. A family has been left devastated and we need to work together to provide them with answers.”

Officers and paramedics were called to Gifford Road at about 9.15pm on Saturday, where Sadio was found dead. A resident reported hearing five gunshots in quick succession, while another neighbour described seeing people coming out of a church after a wake and discovering bodies on the ground, leading to crying and screaming.

A cordon remains in place at the junction of Gifford Road and Creukhorne Road as forensic officers gather evidence. Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
