Northumbria Police have launched an investigation after a man was reportedly sexually assaulted at a bus stop in Gateshead. The incident occurred on Saltwell Road at around 4.15pm on Monday, 13 October.
According to police, the victim, a man in his 30s, was approached from behind by an unknown man. The suspect allegedly touched the victim, then groped his bottom before making a comment and fleeing on foot.
The suspect is described as white, wearing a blue top, grey joggers, black and white trainers, and a black cap. The victim was left distressed by the incident.
Officers have conducted several lines of inquiry and are urging anyone with information to contact them via social media, the Northumbria Police website, or by calling 101, quoting reference 119439M/25.
