Seven men have been arrested following an incident in Middlewich, Cheshire, in which a vehicle was set on fire.
Incident on Holmes Chapel Road
Police were called after a group of men were seen fighting in the town, with a vehicle set alight during the disturbance on Holmes Chapel Road on Saturday morning.
Cheshire Police described the incident as an 'isolated incident' in a statement.
Police response and appeal
A spokesperson said: "He’d like to reassure residents that this was an isolated incident, and seven men have since been arrested and are currently in custody.
"We are in the area to establish the circumstances and patrols have been stepped up to provide reassurance."
