Northumbria Police have launched a search for a missing North Tyneside cyclist who was last seen in Northumberland over the weekend. Officers are appealing for the public's help to locate the 'keen cyclist', identified only as David.
The 67-year-old was last known to be in the Alwinton area of Northumberland at approximately 5.40pm on Saturday. He last contacted his family on Sunday morning, prompting growing concern from both officers and his loved ones.
Description and Appeal
According to a Northumbria Police statement, David is from the North Shields area and is described as a white man, about 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build with short grey hair. He is a keen cyclist and may be travelling on the e-bike pictured in police images.
