A search is under way for a missing camper who was last seen two days ago departing Oban in his motorhome.
George McCulloch was last spotted about 9am on Monday, July 27. The 58-year-old was seen leaving the town planning to travel home to Hawick.
He was driving a white VW campervan, registration GF18 UXZ, and is understood to have taken his small Jack Russell dog with him.
Description and appeal
George is described as 5ft 8in tall, bald with white/grey hair on the sides, and a grey beard. He is believed to have been wearing a blue polo shirt and camouflage shorts.
Inspector Robert Maclean said: “We, along with George’s family are growing increasingly concerned for him and his dog.
“His intentions were to travel home after visiting Oban and he has failed to arrive.
“If anyone has seen him or knows the whereabouts of the campervan, I would ask them to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
