Nazi Salute Thug Exposed as Serial Abuser
A far-right thug pictured making Nazi salutes at a 'protect women and children protest' has been exposed as a serial stalker and abuser. Ryan Marshall, 37, made the "sieg heil" gesture at the Unite the Clans rally in Glasgow last Saturday, where at least 15 people were arrested. The demonstration was intended to highlight the threat immigrants pose to women, but Marshall has a history of persecuting women.
The Record can reveal that Marshall attacked partners over months and then stalked them after they ended the relationships. He served multiple prison sentences but would return with sob stories, leading to further violence. He has convictions for assault and stalking multiple women. One former partner told the Record she only left after being attacked by Marshall's mother the day after the couple got engaged.
Family Fights to Exhume Father's Body After Killer's Death
The family of Mike Mosey, a former police officer beaten to death with his own truncheon, are raising funds to have his body exhumed. Mosey was killed at his home near Forth, Lanarkshire, in August 2006. John Mackie was convicted of the 58-year-old's murder in 2007 and jailed for a minimum of 18 years, later reduced to 13 on appeal.
Almost two decades after the brutal killing, Mackie died in custody last month and could be buried in the same cemetery as Mosey, within sight of Mosey's grave. Mackie's parents are already buried there, and no rules prevent him from being buried nearby. Mosey's daughter Rachel Godier, 47, said: "Dad's murderer died in custody and we were informed that there was nothing in the current arrangements to prevent him from being buried or for his ashes to be scattered in the same cemetery as our dad."
