A single-vehicle crash in Rotherham has left three people dead, including a teenager. The incident occurred on Denaby Lane at approximately 11:39pm on Saturday, August 8.
South Yorkshire Police reported that a grey Seat Cupra Leon was travelling towards Kilnhurst when it left the carriageway. Despite emergency services' efforts, a 17-year-old boy and two men, aged 21 and 23, were pronounced dead at the scene. A second teenage boy, also 17, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police Appeal for Information
Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward. A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: "Their families have been informed and are being supported by officers. A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with minor injuries."
The spokesman added: "An investigation is underway and we are now asking for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash cam footage that could assist with our enquiries, to come forward. If you can help, please report online or call 101, quoting incident number 1235 of 8 August 2026."
