Ricky Martin 'safe' after tear gas deployed at Montenegro concert

Ricky Martin is safe after a canister of tear gas was deployed during his concert in Montenegro on Thursday night. The incident occurred near the stage, prompting an abrupt halt to the performance as audience members moved away and received assistance.

The singer was immediately escorted off stage as a precaution, but returned to finish the show once local authorities confirmed the situation was under control. Martin's publicist, Róndine Alcalá, stated that although the artist's team advised against continuing, Martin decided to resume the concert to fulfill his commitment to fans.

Alcalá confirmed that Martin's European tour will proceed as planned, with upcoming dates in Croatia, Italy, Switzerland, and Germany throughout June. The tour kicked off the European leg in Montenegro.
