A major manhunt has been launched after a prisoner escaped from a prison transport van in Woolwich, south-east London. Police have appealed for the public's assistance in locating 25-year-old Temitope Segun, who fled custody near Woolwich High Street at approximately 6.40pm on Monday, June 8.

Segun, who is currently serving a prison sentence for supplying Class A drugs, had been transported from Bromley Magistrates' Court to HMP Thameside when he managed to abscond.
