Police are appealing for help to find a missing South Tyneside man last seen in Jarrow. The man, named Keith, is 41.
Officers said he was last seen in the Tynemouth Road area shortly before noon on Wednesday. He is said to have been driving along the road in a grey BMW 1 Series car.
Concern for welfare
Northumbria Police said officers and Keith's family were all growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. It's thought he may have travelled towards the Hexham area of Northumberland.
Keith, who was last seen wearing a grey and blue tracksuit, is around 5ft 8in and has short brown and grey hair. He also has tattoos on both arms, hands and his back.
Police appeal
In the police appeal, Northumbria Police figures said: "Officers are appealing for information to locate a missing South Tyneside man Keith, who is aged 41 and of Jarrow, was last seen in the Tynemouth Road area of Jarrow just before midday today."
"He was last seen driving along the road in his grey BMW 1 Series car. Officers and Keith’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his whereabouts."
Police have carried out a number of enquiries and it is believed that Keith may be in the Hexham area of Northumberland area. He may be wearing grey and blue tracksuit top and bottoms and black trainers as shown in a CCTV image from earlier today.
Keith is described as being 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with short brown and grey hair. He has black and grey tattoos on both arms, hands and back.
