Police have launched an urgent search for a 16-year-old schoolgirl who vanished from Crediton in Mid Devon on Friday while wearing her school uniform.
Elizabeth Lynch was last seen on Friday, May 15, and has not been heard from since. Devon and Cornwall Police have issued a public appeal for information, describing Elizabeth as slim, around 5ft tall, with dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, black trousers, a black Zavetti Canada puffa coat, and black shoes.
The teenager is believed to have links to London, Birmingham, and Gloucester, raising concerns that she may have travelled to one of these areas. Police are urging anyone who has seen Elizabeth or knows of her whereabouts to contact them immediately.
A police spokesperson said: "We are currently searching for a 16-year-old girl who has been reported missing from Crediton. Elizabeth Lynch was last seen on Friday 15 May and enquiries have since been ongoing to locate her. Elizabeth is described as being of slim build, around 5ft in height with dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a school uniform consisting of white shirt, black trousers, black Zavetti Canada puffa coat and black shoes. Elizabeth has links to London, Birmingham and Gloucester.
