Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Moorgate on the night of the incident, with a heavy police presence seen at the scene.

Officers from City of London Police responded to reports of a stabbing at around 11:20pm in South Place. A cordon was put in place outside the Third Space gym, where the incident appeared to have taken place.
At least three police cars and two City of London Police vans were seen at the scene, with officers speaking to a group of women nearby while emergency responders tended to the victim.
Victim and appeal
A man was taken to hospital but has since been discharged, police said. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
