Police in Fife are investigating two terrifying car blazes that erupted within minutes of each other in the same town, with authorities confirming they are treating the incidents as linked.
The first emergency call came in at 3:05am on Thursday, November 13, reporting a vehicle well alight on Lawson Gardens in Kirkcaldy. Fire crews rushed to the scene to tackle the flames.
Second Vehicle Targeted Just Minutes Later
As emergency services dealt with the first incident, a second car was set ablaze just half a mile away on Haig Avenue. This fire was reported at 3:25am, a mere 20 minutes after the initial call-out.
The proximity in both time and location between the two car fires immediately raised suspicions of a deliberate and coordinated attack.
