Police Probe After Man in 40s Found Dead in Liverpool Hotel

Merseyside Police have launched an investigation after a man was found dead inside a hotel room in Liverpool city centre.

The body of a man in his 40s was discovered at the Brownlows Inn on Mount Pleasant on Saturday, August 1. Officers received a report at around 11.15am and paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Death treated as unexpected

Police said the death is being treated as unexpected. The man's next of kin have been informed, and a postmortem investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of death.
