A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been dismissed from the force after committing a gross breach of trust by sharing sensitive body-worn camera footage of a rape victim with his girlfriend.
PC Lewis Mcpherson, attached to the Central West Command Unit, accessed and distributed the distressing video evidence despite its confidential nature and the vulnerability of the victim involved.
