A former dairy worker who now orders four gallons of milk and two gallons of apple juice every week has had three grocery deliveries stolen from his doorstep in Birmingham over the past few months.
The man, a taxi driver, says each delivery is worth £28 and includes eggs and juices. He told Birmingham Live his children 'rely on it'.
"It's not a small delivery; it's four gallons of milk, two gallons of apple juice, a bottle of orange juice and a dozen eggs," he said. "My children rely on it. I worked for this company [McQueens Dairies] and I want my children to have this milk."
Delivery thefts in Lozells
The dad explained his family gets the delivery twice a week on Sunday and Wednesday nights from 10pm to 7am. Each delivery was taken from his doorstep before he could collect it. The thefts have affected his family for two months.
Videos previously shared showed the thief hiding for the delivery and casually picking up the package.
Police appeal for information
West Midlands Police are now hunting the thief who struck the home on Roland Road, in Lozells, a western suburb of Birmingham. On Wednesday (July 22), a force spokesperson said: "Recognise this person? We want to speak to him after groceries were stolen from outside a house in Lozells.
"On three separate occasions over the last couple of months, items delivered to a family living on Roland Road have been stolen after being delivered to their home."
