Police Scotland has launched a manhunt for a man with a Liverpool accent who is wanted in connection with an investigation into an incident in Inverness. The appeal comes more than 300 miles from Liverpool, where the man is believed to be from.
Incident in Stephen's Brae
The incident took place in the Stephen's Brae area of Inverness shortly before 1am on Sunday, July 6, 2025. The man is described as white, of heavy build and over 6ft tall. He was wearing a black jacket, black trousers, black trainers and a black cap, police said.
He spoke with a Liverpool accent and is believed to be from the Liverpool area, according to the appeal.
Merseyside Police share appeal
Sharing the appeal, Merseyside Police said: "Can you help our colleagues at [Police Scotland] with this CCTV appeal from Sunday, 6 July, 2025?"
"He spoke with a Liverpudlian accent and is believed to be from the Liverpool area."
