British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to trace following the alleged sexual assault of a woman aboard a train between Doncaster and Wakefield.
The incident is reported to have occurred at around 7pm on Tuesday 14 April. It is alleged that the man followed the woman through the train before sexually assaulting her.
The man is believed to have left the train at Wakefield Westgate railway station after the alleged attack. Officers are now appealing for the public's help to identify the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could assist their investigation.
Anyone who recognises the man, or who has any information, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 652 of 14 April. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
