Police Hunt Man After Teen Girls Filmed on Swansea Train

British Transport Police are investigating after a man deliberately filmed two teenage girls on a train in south Wales.

Incident on Train Between Gowerton and Swansea

The incident took place on a service travelling between Gowerton and Swansea railway station on Tuesday, August 4. Officers say a man deliberately filmed two 15-year-old girls and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

British Transport Police say the same man was involved in similar incidents elsewhere on the train network and is also wanted in connection to an assault which took place in April.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

A statement from British Transport Police reads: "Officers investigating a man filming children on a train in south Wales are appealing for those who witnessed the incident to come forward."

"On the morning of August 4, while the train was travelling between Gowerton and Swansea, two 15-year-old girls were deliberately filmed by a man on the train."

"Police believe similar incidents involving the same man have occurred elsewhere on the railway network. He is also wanted in connection to an assault that occurred at Chesterfield railway station on April 10."

How to Provide Information

Officers are keen to speak to a number of people who are believed to have witnessed the incident on August 4, particularly a woman who followed the suspect and then spoke to the two victims.
