Police have launched a manhunt after a woman was allegedly raped at a train station in Warwickshire, with officers urgently seeking a 36-year-old suspect linked to the local area.
Incident at Nuneaton Railway Station
British Transport Police were called to Nuneaton railway station at 9.24pm on Friday, March 13, following distressing reports of a rape. The victim is currently being supported by specially trained officers, according to an official statement from the force.
Search for Suspect Billy Ormiston
Officers are actively looking to speak to Billy Ormiston, aged 36, who is known to have connections to the Nuneaton, Coventry, and Atherstone areas. A spokesperson for the British Transport Police emphasised the urgency of the search, stating that anyone with information about Ormiston's whereabouts should come forward immediately.
The spokesperson added: 'Anyone who has information about Ormiston's whereabouts is urged to text BTP on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 708 of 13 March.'
