Police have cordoned off several roads in Woolton following reports of a crash. According to social media reports, the incident happened in the early hours of Saturday (September 5) on Woolton Road.
Residents reported hearing a "loud bang" and a large emergency services presence shortly after. Pictures taken by the ECHO this morning show a number of cordons in place, including on Allerton Road.
Road closures in place
Traffic management system Inrix said Woolton Road is closed in both directions to carry out investigation work, from Woolton Street to A562 Hillfoot Road.
