Police have closed off two shops on Smithdown Road in Liverpool. Several police cars, vans and an ambulance were at the scene on the afternoon of July 30.

Police tape has been placed around the Liverpool 15 convenience store on the corner of Ferndale Road and Discount Appliances on the corner of Hawarden Avenue. The ECHO has approached Merseyside Police for more information, and a reporter is on their way to the scene.
