Police have launched an urgent appeal for information to help trace a missing Dundee man last seen driving away in a black Mini Countryman.
Richard Ross, 38, was last seen on Clepington Road sometime between 7pm and 8pm on Tuesday, July 21. He is believed to have driven away from the area in a black Mini Countryman, registration number SR26 CFA.
Richard is described as around 5ft 9in tall with short dark hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing a red Adidas T-shirt, black Adidas or Nike trousers, and black Lacoste sliders.
Out of character disappearance
Officers say they are becoming increasingly worried for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
Sergeant Ruari McPhee said: “We are growing increasingly worried for the welfare of Richard as this is completely out of character for him. If anyone knows his whereabouts or sees his car, they should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1480 of 21 July 2026.”
Anyone with information that could help locate Richard is urged to contact police as soon as possible.
