Police Appeal to Find Woman with Facial Injuries in Cardiff

South Wales Police have launched an urgent appeal to identify and trace a woman who was seen in Cardiff city centre with visible facial injuries, including a bruised eye, amid concerns she may have been the victim of an assault.

Officers are seeking to locate the woman to check on her welfare after she was spotted at the Prince of Wales Wetherspoon pub on St Mary Street at around 2.20pm on Friday, June 12.

Description of the Woman

The woman was wearing a distinctive dark red cropped fur coat, black leggings and brown leopard print sliders. She is described as white, around 5ft 6in tall, with long dark red hair. She was also carrying a very large suitcase.

Concerned members of staff spoke to the woman while she was in the pub. However, she did not disclose that any offences had taken place before leaving the premises.

Police Appeal

Despite further enquiries, officers have so far been unable to identify or trace her and are now making a public appeal.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "She may have been the victim of an assault, and we are appealing for her to come forward so we can check on her welfare.
