Police are appealing for the public's help following an alleged road rage assault in Salford. The incident took place following a car crash on Broughton Lane in Lower Broughton.
Man pictured may assist enquiries
Police in the city have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the assault. He is wearing a baseball cap with a lightly-coloured tee shirt and shorts. Officers say they believe he may be able to help with their enquiries.
The alleged assault took place at around 1.30pm on July 8, but the appeal is only being made now.
Statement from GMP Salford
In a statement GMP Salford said: "Can you help officers identify the man pictured who may be able to help following reports of an alleged assault? At around 1.30pm on 8 July 2026, it is understood that an assault took place following an RTC on Broughton Lane, Salford."
"Officers are looking to speak with the man pictured who may be able to help with their enquiries."
