Three students have died and at least five others have been wounded in a school shooting at San Jose National High School in Tacloban City, Philippines. A 15-year-old student and another minor have been arrested in connection with the attack, which police say may have been motivated by bullying.

The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. local time while classes were ongoing. Several gunshots were heard, causing panic among students and teachers. The Police Regional Office-8 identified two persons of interest, including a 15-year-old student at the school. One suspect was apprehended at the scene, while the other was arrested following a hot pursuit operation in Barangay San Jose. The gun allegedly used in the attack was seized from the second suspect.
