Police have confirmed the discovery of a dead infant in a storm water drain in Perth, Western Australia.
Officers were called to the suburb of Alexander Heights after receiving reports at about 1pm on Monday, with multiple resources deployed to the scene.
An investigation is under way into the circumstances surrounding the incident, police said.
