A person has been taken to hospital with life-changing injuries following a serious collision on a busy road in Salford this morning.
Incident Details
Police cordoned off part of Cleggs Lane in Little Hulton, near the junction with Eastham Way, on Tuesday, July 28. Multiple ambulance and police vehicles responded, and residents reported seeing the air ambulance land nearby.
Police Statement
Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were called to a road-traffic collision involving a person and a vehicle. A force spokesperson said the pedestrian suffered life-changing injuries.
Scene Investigation
Pictures from the scene showed a road-sweeper type vehicle within the police cordon. Officers were seen conducting investigation work inside the taped-off area.
The road was closed in both directions between Duke Street and Old Lane.
