A major police manhunt is intensifying in central-west New South Wales for a man accused of a triple fatal shooting that has left a community in lockdown. The incident, which occurred in the town of Lake Cargelligo, resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left another seriously injured, sparking an urgent search operation that has now stretched over 14 hours.

Officers were first called to Bokhara Street at approximately 4.20pm on Thursday, where they discovered the bodies of a 32-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman inside a vehicle. It is understood that the woman was pregnant at the time of her death, adding a layer of tragedy to the already horrific event.

Shortly after the initial discovery, reports emerged of further gunfire on Walker Street. Police responded to find the body of a 50-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man who had sustained injuries. The injured man was promptly transported to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition, receiving medical care.

Julian Ingram is described as having an Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance. He stands between 165cm and 170cm tall, with a medium build, short dark hair, and brown eyes. Authorities believe he was last seen driving a Ford Ranger utility vehicle with NSW registration DM-07-GZ. The vehicle is notable for having council signage, a metal tray back, high visibility markings on the sides, and an emergency light bar on the roof.
