Nine Men Arrested After Wetherspoons Brawl at Victoria Station

Nine men have been arrested after a mass brawl broke out in a Wetherspoons pub at London Victoria Station on Saturday night. The disorder occurred at around 11.20pm, shocking passengers on the concourse.

Footage posted on social media showed a man punching a rival twice in the head as the altercation escalated from a table overlooking the station, which serves services to Brighton, Gatwick Airport and parts of Surrey. Others attempted to intervene, but the fight continued for over a minute, with two men ending up on the floor.

British Transport Police attended the scene and arrested nine men. A spokesperson said: 'Eight were arrested on suspicion of affray, one on suspicion of common assault and affray, and one on suspicion of attempted Section 18 GBH. All have since been released on bail. Further enquiries are ongoing.'
