A heartbroken newlywed is pleading for her missing husband to come home after he vanished on Tuesday morning. Dominick Bianchi, 35, was last seen in the area of Forrest Pointe Drive in East Greenbush, New York, and police believe he left on foot. Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Wife fears for husband's health
Julianna Zyra, Bianchi's wife, told News 10 that her husband is a Type 1 diabetic and she is unsure if he has his insulin with him. She broke down in tears as she made her plea for him to return.
James Condo, assistant chief of the East Greenbush Police Department, said on Wednesday: “We have officers up there today continuing to search the area, canvas the residents, check local cameras.”
He added: “We had a search yesterday with the assistance of the New York State Police, Environmental Conservation, Rensselaer County Search and Rescue. We had the dogs. We had the New York State Police Aviation Unit, our own drones.”

Dominick is described as 5’11” with blue/green eyes, brown hair, and a beard. He has a chest tattoo of a skull and roses, a tattoo on his right arm of a baseball, and a back tattoo of a cross. He was last seen at around 10am on Tuesday outside of his home.
When he left home, he left his vehicle, phone, and wallet behind. His wife explained: “He has a continuous glucose monitor, which is paired to his phone that he doesn’t have. There’s a way to check his blood sugar without it, but I don’t know if he has that equipment with him.”
The couple married just a few months ago. Zyra said her husband had recently been struggling with his mental health. She added: “He has been struggling mentally for quite some time, and nobody really knows about it. It’s not fair. And I really wish people would stay off the internet, hypothesising things that happened, he’s very sick and he is not in the right headspace.”
She made a direct appeal to him: “Whatever it is that’s going on, there are so many people who care about you want you to be OK. I know you feel really alone, but there are people who want to help you. If you’re seeing this, please, come home.”
