Greater Manchester Police have released new CCTV footage showing missing 13-year-old Lillia at Manchester Piccadilly bus station at 10.36am on Monday, September 14. The teenager has now been missing for just over a week after leaving her family home in Bolton on Friday, September 11.
Fourth confirmed sighting revealed
This is the fourth confirmed sighting of Lillia to be revealed by police as investigations continue. The latest footage shows Lillia exiting the number 36 bus at Piccadilly after boarding it in Salford.
Chief Supt Helen Critchley said: "I can now confirm that our last known current sighting was of Lillia at Manchester Piccadilly bus station at 10.36am on the morning on Monday, September 14."
Intensive search operation under way
Officers have been conducting an intensive search operation, with a huge police advertising van stationed around Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester city centre. Appeal posters and leaflets are being distributed throughout the area as part of efforts to locate the missing teenager.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have been on the bus with Lillia or saw her in Piccadilly Gardens on Sunday, September 13 around 8.20pm. The investigation now covers the whole of Greater Manchester, with officers across the force supporting enquiries.
Family appeal for information
Chief Superintendent Critchley added: "Her family just want her home. Please report any information, no matter how small."
