Netflix Actor Stewart McLean Found Dead, Homicide Probe

Canadian actor Stewart McLean, best known for his role in the Netflix series Virgin River, has been found dead a week after being reported missing. His death is now being investigated as a homicide.

The 45-year-old actor, who also appeared in television shows such as Arrow and Supernatural, was reported missing on May 18. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Squamish received the missing person report and later transferred the case to Canada's Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) on May 20.

According to authorities, McLean's remains were discovered in the Lions Bay area of British Columbia. IHIT is currently collecting and analyzing evidence, reviewing CCTV footage, and conducting interviews to establish a timeline of McLean's activities prior to his disappearance.

Police have urged anyone with information regarding McLean's death to contact the IHIT information line to assist with the ongoing investigation.
