A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a property in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester. Emergency services were called to an address on Lulworth Gardens in Baguley at around 8.30am on Tuesday following reports of a disturbance.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was found unresponsive at the scene. Despite attempts by officers and paramedics to perform CPR, she was pronounced dead. A 44-year-old man has been taken into custody for questioning.
Police have cordoned off the area and erected a forensic tent outside the property. Superintendent Gayle Brister said officers are working tirelessly to establish the circumstances of the incident, but assured the public there is no wider risk.
