A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a van on the A4067 south of Cray in south Powys. The crash was reported at around 11.45am on August 26 and involved a white Citroen Berlingo van and a red Kawasaki motorbike.
Paramedics and police at the scene
Paramedics attended the scene alongside police officers. Despite their efforts, the rider of the red Kawasaki motorbike was pronounced dead at the scene. Their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Road closure remains in place
Dyfed-Powys Police remain at the scene, and a road closure is still in place while the vehicles are recovered. A police spokeswoman said: "Dyfed-Powys Police attended to road traffic collision involving a white Citreon Berlingo van and a red Kawasaki motorbike on the A4067 south of Cray, south Powys."
She added: "Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the rider of the red Kawasaki motorbike was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers."
